Home & Away - it's back!

It's been a while but Home & Away is back! Our last get together was before the summer holidays which seems like such a long time ago. Our next dinner is planned for October 13th, at the Auberge Des Tilleuls in Heilles, around 30 minutes to the north west of Chantilly. The young chef, Charles-Édouard specialises in local cuisine and is getting quite a name for himself.

To those unaware of what Home & Away is, it is a group of people who enjoy two things; eating out and meeting people. By arranging set price dinners in local restaurants, and arranging pot-luck dinners in people's houses it provides a great opportunity to get together with old friends, and to make new ones. We regularly have between 10 and 20 people at each dinner, although we have been up to 40 before!

So to return to our next get together, October 13th at the Auberge des Tilleuls. Read more for the menu:

Kir de bienvenue
Tartine au maroilles
Salade gourmande
(Salade, tomates, noix, gésiers, magret fumé, foie gras, toasts et vinaigrette)
Souris d’agneau rôtie au thym
Suprême de volaille sauce vallée d’Auge
Moelleux au chocolat
Tartelette tatin
½ bouteille de vin par personne

The menu is prix fixe, at 40€ per person. I need to let the chef know as soon as possible (and give him a deposit) so please get back to me if you would like to join us. We'll try and get cars together so not everyone has to drive.
