Is TELF training any good?
A quick question to ex-pats in the know.
I'm French but have a good level of English. I'm thinking of teaching English to local kids. As I don't have the required qualification to teach in France, I was thinking of paying for a TELF training. Have any of you any experience in this? Is it a good idea or a waste of money?
Thanks for any serious reply in advance,
No, it's not at all a waste of money. Go for Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL qualifications. You can then specialise for children by doing CTEYL. Once you've expressed interest in doing the teacher training course, you have an interview to see if you're eligible. Good luck!
